Working with teams and individuals, Naina Oliver draws on her background in psychology, communications, and business. Her career began in journalism and broadcasting and it entailed, traveling the world, interviewing politicians, heads of government, A-list celebrities, and managing teams. Naina has 20 years of international experience working in print, radio, and TV with the BBC, Channel 4, and Sky TV.
This experience underpins her confidence as a challenging, personable, and intuitive international trainer and coach. After 20 years in journalism, a career shift ensued, and as Managing Director of a recruitment business, Naina came to understand the challenges facing her clients in the media industry and the complexities of running a company. Becoming a coach was a natural progression and developing people and their teams has become a passion.
Naina’s ethos around coaching and training is based on the premise that understanding how to lead takes courage and commitment but is, first and foremost, based on an understanding of self and others.
Committed to developing future thinking in the field of personal development, Naina is an accredited coach, organisational change consultant, and an Impact Factory trainer specialising in Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Coaching and Mentoring, Media Skills, Assertiveness, and Personal Impact courses, among others.
Naina has organised and delivered workshops on Race and Racial Inequality for HPMA London Academy and started essential conversations about inclusion during a programme roll-out for the US and UK teams at Pantheon Ventures.
