James Waters has been a highly valued Communication Consultant with Impact Factory since 2013. He takes pride in his unique ability to create an environment, in which delegates feel instantly at ease, allowing trust to flow in both directions. As a direct result of this, he has facilitated training throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.
He believes effective communication is a prerequisite for any organisation or team to thrive and operate at its optimum, specialising in Personal Impact, Assertiveness Skills, Presentation Skills, Line Management, Train the Trainer and Leadership… to name some. He has become a trusted advisor to an array of organisations including: CVC Capital, Minebea Intec, London & Partners, Taylor Wimpey, CDC Group, Department for Transport, The United Grand Lodge of England, Ecorys Research Institute, Mitsubishi, Radley Yeldar, Santander and Mizuho Bank.
Between 2017- 2019 he was integral in designing and delivering a year-long Graduate Training Scheme for Mizuho Bank and a two-year Leadership Programme for NTT DATA Business Solutions (formerly intelligence UK).
Alongside his successful partnership with Impact Factory, James is the Managing Director of Pressplay Productions, which he formed in 2005, to facilitate training/play for children, young people, and adults, creating a safe environment to fail and succeed, while getting to grips with the processes involved in learning new skills.
In the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s James thoroughly enjoyed being a professional actor, appearing in theatre productions for The Royal Shakespeare Company, The New Shakespeare Co, London’s West End, and many regional theatres, and toured the Middle and the Far East…as well as commercials, TV, and film.
James lives high on a hill in southeast London with his family and enjoys practicing the art of living a simple life.
