What to do after
“It was incredibly helpful, fun, and I am starting to feel more confident when I have to talk in front of different audiences – of course, it will take some time, but I will get there.”
I presented my research on insecure work to the Board of my organisation the week after the course. It went great! There were many great points from the course that I put into practice (pausing etc). Overall, since I attended the course, I have felt increasingly confident in speaking, both in the context of presentations, but also during more informal conversations where I give an overview of my work, or my organisation’s work to external people. I have found the course incredibly helpful, and it was run in such a constructive and engaging way. You’re both fabulous instructors.

I did three presentations in the week after the course and used a number of the tools from the day. In particular, focusing on ‘the conversation’ and involving the audience allowing me to remove self-generated anxiety.
